Height-adjustable and equipped with a tilting, oscillating head and three speeds, this 96-watt stand fan provides plenty of options for cooling a room. With the center pole in place, the fan stands 46 inches tall. Removing the center pole reduces the height to 26 inches. At either height, you can tilt the fan from straight ahead to straight up. When pointing upward with the oscillation knob pulled out, the fan provides a rainbow arc, circulating air throughout a room. Disengaging the oscillation creates a steady breeze in a single direction. Most of the fan, including the fine-mesh safety grill and five fan blades, is plastic. But the stand is made of heavy metal for stability, and the base's swirl design provides even more stability. Assembly is simple, requiring no tools and just seven steps.
